Conservatory concerts in February
The Conservatory Nights concert series will continue in February at the Liszt Concert Hall of the University of Debrecen.
On the 10th of February from 7 pm, teachers of the Brass and Percussion Instrument Department perform a concert, where next to Mozart and Grieg compositions, the audience can enjoy for the first time the composition of László Sáry titled Interferences. The program continues on the 14th of February with the concert titled Percussion Carneval, performed by the SONUS percussion instrument group and their guests. Students of the Faculty of Music and members of the Cívis Dance Studio stage the production titled Spanish Fantasy on the 17th of February. Piano artist Gábor Csalog’s piano concert will be held on the same day, he will play Bach and Beethoven compositions. The final events of the program series will be the traditional Midnight Concert on the 27th of February, and the ceremonial concert on the 28th of February in honor of the 200th anniversary of Chopin’s birthday.
