Doctoral training

The University of Debrecen offers the widest scale of PhD programmes in the country. Our 25 doctoral schools cover the full gamut of sciences from natural sciences to arts to agricultural sciences, awarding PhD degrees to approx. 150 students every year. Doctoral training is coordinated by the Scientific Directorate of the University.
