Quality, Innovation: Farmer Expo
Over 300 exhibitors were present at this year's Farmer Expo at UD's Centre for Agriculture. The event attracted more than 28,000 visitors in four days.
The 19th Farmer Expo was organized between 25-28 August on the campus of the Centre for Agricultural and Applied Economic Sciences. Visitors had a chance to familiarize themselves with the latest agricultural products, machinery, crop production and crop protection technologies.
Events included animal exhibition, consultancy for breeders, sheep-goat specialist meeting, Hungarian-Romanian business meeting, and discussiosn about milk production and irrigation.
Within the framework of the Expo a conference on functional - tasty and healthy - food was held together with a presentation of maize germ oil, cheeses, honey, food supplements, lactose and gluten free products produced in the region.
Over 28,000 visitors were interested in the event, among them Romanian, Ukranian, Croatian, Italian and Arab businessmen.
