Welcoming Spring – Student Gala
As a consequence of the unexpected succes of the event two years ago, students were once again invited to dress up as vampires during this year’s annual Spring Ball organised by the Student Union.
The evening on 10th March started by a welcome speech by Péter Körösparti (President of the Student Union) who was followed by Ildikó Keresztesi’s performance.
After the opening address by Rector István Fábián, Nicolas Takács entertained the audience with his radiant voice and a musical selection evoking nostalgic feelings. The Dance Show – performed by Gabi Lukács’ group –delivered a spectacular performance and choreography as usual, amusing the audience.
After the concert by Back II Black and singer Alexa Bagosi, Dj Laci Juhász entertained the audience until the crack of dawn. The photos taken are proving that both the organizers and the participants took the theme of the event seriously; everything from the decoration, the make-ups to the costumes aimed to evoke an authentic vampire’s image.
