UD student is Olympic Champion!

University of Debrecen student Éva Risztov has won gold medal in long distance (10 km) swimming in London.
After winning piles of silver medals at European and world championships, swimmer Éva Risztov is now gold medallist in long distance swimming. She took the lead right at the beginning, and stayed there all through the end, completing the 10 km distance in an impressive 1:57.
The new Olympic Champion, who won Hungary’s 8th gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games, is an undergraduate student of UD Faculty of Law, majoring in management. The university has recently awarded her an “Outstanding Sportswoman” title.
